Large lidded stoneware tureen by Ccile Dein, France, circa 1960.
Rounded body with two side handles, topped with a tall conical lid and spherical finial.
The richly textured surface is covered in a remarkable irregular milky-white glaze, allowing areas of the dark clay body to show through.

Signed on the underside.
Very good original condition, with a small chip to the inner rim, barely visible when the lid is in place.
