“Galassia” Aluminum Dish, Orange Center, Brandani, Italy, 1980s

This dish follows the same spiral-pattern principle as the round version in the “Galassia” series, but in a square format with slightly raised, almost curved edges. The orange center, achieved through enameling over the hammered surface, contrasts with the natural aluminum tone around the rim and heightens the concentric relief of the design.

Made from solid aluminum, entirely hand-shaped, signed Brandani on the reverse. Brandani is an Italian house based in Pescia, specializing for decades in tableware and home objects, known for pairing artisanal craftsmanship with contemporary design.

Beautiful aluminum patina, developed naturally over time. The orange enamel is in very good condition, with no chipping or dulling. The original brand sticker is still present on the back, a detail confirming the piece’s authenticity and dating.

Dimensions: 40 cm wide, 8.5 cm high.

Suited to a coffee table or sideboard, as a catch-all dish or centerpiece: a bold touch of color in an otherwise understated interior.
