Large red stoneware soliflore bottle by Grs de la Venelle, dated 1984

Large glazed stoneware soliflore bottle by the Grs de la Venelle workshop, France, 1984. The highly slender silhouette features a tall cylindrical body, subtly flared toward the base, rising to rounded shoulders and a short narrow neck with a gently flared rim.
The exterior is covered in a finely speckled deep red glaze, contrasting with the rich blue-glazed interior.

A restrained, sculptural and particularly elegant piece.

Signed Grs de la Venelle and dated 84 underneath the base.

Excellent original condition.
