Maritime Oyster Bowl / Bucket, 1980s

This outstanding object is a footed bowl in which used oyster shells can be placed at the table. It features appropriate maritime decorations. The footed bowl is made of brass, which has been silver-plated. The brass is visible inside the bowl due to abrasion. The bowl has a charming patina, which can be polished on request.
