Hammered copper picture or mirror frame, Poland, c.1970s80s. Hand-worked repouss decoration throughout with floral motifs, irises to the sides, roses at the corners, and a central figural relief to the peaked top. Dark patinated copper over hardboard back.
Made by an artisan at the Spdzielnia Zrzeszonych Wytwrcw Art-Region cooperative, one of Poland’s state-sanctioned craft cooperatives producing decorative folk metalwork for the Cepelia gift network. Original maker’s label to the reverse with handwritten production details.
Interior metal clips to hold a picture or mirror of your choice. Single wall-hanging hook to reverse. Good condition consistent with age.
