Carrara T Rock Face 2×6 Marble Mosaics 12×14

Carrara T cut into 2×6 bars with a rock face finish, supplied as a marble mosaic on 12×14 sheets. The visible surface has been split rather than sawn, each sheet covers a square foot, four come to a box, and five matching trims are available in the same stone.

Texture from splitting

Splitting stone along its natural line leaves a surface with real relief, so the recorded thickness is random rather than a single figure. On Carrara that texture breaks up the veining into something rougher and more geological than a honed face would give. Variation between pieces is slight. The trim range runs to a pencil liner, a cornice, a base, a 3/4×12 pencil and an andorra. White marble mosaics with a split face also catch dust differently from smooth ones, which is worth knowing before choosing one for a horizontal surface.

Approved across interiors

Backsplash, bath floors and walls, shower walls and floors, residential and commercial interior walls and floors, and residential light floors all appear, with living room, bathroom and kitchen recorded. Eighteen boxes cover 60 square feet after cutting. An uneven surface needs adhesive that fills behind every piece, since the depth varies across a single sheet.

Care

Seal after installation and reseal every one to two years. Textured stone traps cleaning product in its hollows, so rinse thoroughly, and stay with a pH neutral stone cleaner.
